11/2/2026 MONDAY, COMMEMORATION OF ALL SOULDS

Good day to you all. Hope all is well with you.

Well, we have opened another new month, Oh my, how the time goes by so quickly. 🫨

Yesterday, we remembered all those who are saints, but we do not know their names or where they are from. It is our belief that anyone in heaven is a “saint”. These souls stand before the face of God and give praise and honor with the untold number of others who have been given a place promised by the Lord when He said that he was going ahead of us to prepare a place for us so that we could be where He is.

Blessed Fulton Sheen once said,”Did you know that I think perhaps we spent too much time — there must be some — praying for the departed souls and not enough time praying to them? Take the example of parents, husbands ant are dead, wives, children. They are our intercessors. And perhaps we limit their influence in heaven simply because we do not sufficiently invoke them.”

Bl. Fulton goes on to tell us that there are two things we need to remember. “1. Our prayers help the dead,” and  “2. Their prayers help us.”

As hard as we might, we just cannot grasp what God has in store for us when we close our eyes to this world. As I have often said, as we drape our homes with black bunting in grief, those who await our arrival are butting up “WELCOM HOME” signs.

Peace and All Good,
