10/1/2026 FEAST OF ST. THERESA OF THE CHILD JESUS. “THE LITTLE FLOWER”

Greetings.

Good day to you all.
Today we remember yet another saint that is familiar  to most of us. She is St. Theresa of the Little Flower. She lived from 1873 to 1893. She was just 24 when she died of acute tuberculosis. She was a clustered Carmelite Nun and lived most of her short life in the convent.

Though she lived the “hidden life” of a cloistered religious, her fame was wide spread. She is acceded with many merciless and she is well known.

Today she reminds us “A word, a kindly smile, will often suffice to gladden a wounded and sorrowful heart.”

As I mentioned the other day, we don’t know how God will use us to answer another’s0 prayer, even if that prayer answer is the is answered with just a smile or a kind word to a stranger.

One never knows what a little smile and a nod of the  head can to for another.

Peace and All Good,
