9/17/2026 THURSDAY OF THE 24TH WEEK OR ORDINARY TIME.

Good morning. Hope your week is going well.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I find myself during my pryers or meditation, wondering who God is. I think of story creation in the Old Testament. God saying let us make . . .  I wonder about the size of the universe, which no one really knows. I wonder about is there life somewhere way out there? And is there is, do they look like us or have they developed in a different way? Then there is the question, did a person similar to Jesus visit there world to bring the Good News?

Opening one of my old notebooks, I came across the following. I don’t know who wrote it, but it relates a dialogue between a woman in pray and God speaking back.

“While praying one day a woman asked “Who are you God?” He answered “I Am”. But, Who is I Am? She asked. He replied, “I Am Love, I Am Peace, I Am Grace, I Am Joy, I Am Strength. I Am Safety, I Am Shelter, I Am Power, I Am The Creator, I Am The Comforter, I Am The Beginning and the End. I AM The Way, Truth and The Light,” With tears in her eyes she looked toward Heaven and said, “Now I understand, But who am I ?” God tenderly wiped the tears from her eyes and whispered, “You Are Mine.”

I know this is just a story, but sometimes the greatest truths are related to others in stories. It is much easier to remember a story, than facts and figures.

Have a blessed and safe day.

Peace and all Good,
